2. Group Multiple Benefits Insurance Scheme (GMBIS) with Great Eastern Life Assurance - GS577

GMBIS is a life insurance scheme for members and their families, including children. It is first introduced in 1986 and today more than 3500 members, their spouses and children are covered under the scheme. Total premiums average more 1.5 million a year.

The specially designed scheme provides endowment, personal accident as well as comprehensive coverage for critical illness. The beauty about the scheme is that is also a savings scheme in that the insured gets back all his premiums plus bonus and dividends when he retire/leave the scheme.
