STRUCTURE
OF SBEU
TRIENNIAL DELEGATES CONFERENCE (TDC)
The TDC is the supreme body of SBEU. This conference
is held once in 3 years during the month of September. The conference is
made up of delegates who are elected by secret ballot, by the membership
of the Union's Branches. The duty of the TDC is to review the work of
the Union for the preceding 3 years and to formulate the general policy
of the Union for the next 3 years. The TDC is the policy making body of
the Union.
EXCO
The Executive Council of SBEU is the executive of the
Union. It is made up of 9 principal officers and the branch secretaries
of 3 Region branches.
REGION BRANCHES
SBEU has
3 Region branches i.e. Southern, Central and Northern. Each region branch has a branch committee made up of to 11 elected
members to help run and organize the membership through the respective
Inter-Relations Committee (IRC).
IRC (INTER-RELATIONS COMMITTEE)
Each Bank/Finance company has their union members
represented by a set of IRCs to facilitate administrative function of
the Union. The IRCs are very important link between the members and the
Union. They are the eyes, ears and hands of the Union at the workplace. Know
your IRC and Support them.
MEMBERSHIP
There are more than 2500 fully committed and
supportive members.
